The social perks of a big city aren't worth the stress, amirite?

dude, social perks are not the only perks of a big city.

I don't care about "exposure" and "social perks". I love that I can walk to most things and bike to the rest. I have everything nearby. Maybe one day I'll move to a smaller town, but not yet

nothing wrong with not wanting to move to a city. that said, places with declining economic activity tend to end up worse over time. money buys options, so if they ever wanted to, they could always go back. if you decide you like the city later in life, you're outta luck cause you probably can't afford it.

For me, yes. I prefer it. This isn't so much an unpopular opinion tho. Lots of people love living in cities. Lots of people hate living in cities.

Depends on the person. For many, yes, for many others, no.

My hack is to live in a quiet town under an hour away from a big city. Perfect balance.
