+54 I'm sick of "reactive dogs", amirite?

My dogs were severely abused and neglected before I took them. So yes. They are reactive. They stay home and people know they're not friendly. But they love me and they are living their best life.

You can have a dog that is friendly with people but reactive to other dogs because they were previously bitten by another dog. This isn't a black and white issue

the fact that you conveniently leave the owner outta this and ask to "put down" the dog immediately kinda proves that we should ignore your opinion though. don't get me wrong, but 9 out of 10 cases, you people just leave the bad owner out of the equation.

Bad owner or not, the dog is still a danger to the public and should be treated as such.

Holy dehumanization with that last part. Atleast say you believe being a map is a reason someone should be killed instead of going straight to calling them "creatures".

I am not happy with how many dogs are everywhere anyway. I don't care if he "has never bitten anyone before" ... I still don't trust them that they won't bite at some time.

Remember, not all reactive dogs are 50+ lbs of pure muscle. Some are barely 10lbs of pure muscle and couldnt gravely injure anything but themselves falling off a couch 🤣 Reactive dogs in loving homes should be fine. My little reactive guy gets riled up by other dogs and some human adults but is a little pushover when it comes to kids. When there are other dogs or humans that set him off he goes to air jail (I grab him by his harness handle and hold him like a breifcase) 🤣
