The freezer section of the refrigerator should be the big part, amirite?

At that point just get a dedicated freezer box.

No? Unless you are a bigger family, or hunt or something, then you don't need that much space to keep things frozen, the food shouldn't be there for more than 6 months anyways, so any meat or other foods should be eaten within 6 months. And I got way more things I need refrigerated than frozen, so making that part smaller wouldn't be good for me, besides if you want more space for frozen things, just buy a freezer, problem solved, why change a refrigerator, when you can just buy a freezer?

I have a chest freezer because I had way more stuff for my freezer AND our regular fridge is basically full.

I agree but I had one that split it in half down the middle and it was such a pain because neither side was wide enough to hold like bigger containers and it just needed up being a total pain.

I feel like needing more freezer space than fridge space is indicative of a poor diet. Most fresh produce needs to be refrigerated. And lots of the things that need to be kept frozen are processed, pre-prepared foods. I dunno. Seems like if you need more freezer space than fridge space, it could point toward something. But on the other hand we've always had a chest freezer to compensate for how small freezers are, especially some we always buy meat in bulk when it's on sale and freeze it… All this rambling to really say nothing, I guess.
