I'm allergic to mosquitoes. Bites from them cause big, horribly itchy welts that take weeks to heal and mosquitoes love me so if I'm spending any significant amount of time outside in the evening during summer, I end up with several bites even if I wear insect repellant. Also, in some places mosquitoes can carry malaria - which is potentially deadly.

Mosquitoes don't bite you.....male mosquitos don't bite anyone they also make no noise. The buzzing is the damn female you hear buzzing and it needs to die. We're coming up on that time of year where flies invade homes so now you're likely right everyone needs to hang a few fly strips

Flies don't claim millions of human lives each year. Mosquitoes, on the other hand, continue to do so.. to this very day. Millions of lives. Yet despite how technologically advanced humans have become, the only precaution we have to towards mosquitoes are mesh nets, citronella products, and spray-on repellants known to incorporate chemicals considered toxic to EVEN us (albeit not carcinogenic). If you're talking AFTER the fact, then yes.. humans have developed two types of intravenous medications to treat malaria (once infected). Unfortunately these are of VERY limited supply, particularly in third world countries.

Yeah nah. I'm a mosquito magnet. I'm always the first one to cop a bite and I'll get multiple bites before anyone else even knows the little bastards are around. I fkn HATE mozzies.

The thing that kills the most humans is mosquitos. It's liek 180% of the next one which is other humans and then like 1500% of the next which is snakes. Flies aren't even remotely close to being worse than human biggest killer
