It's a language issue not a distance issue.

Pre-the-plague, we weren't doing this nearly as much. I am not, of course, talking about people moving country, that's not even the point as it wouldn't help. I am simply saying that we lose a lot of productivity when we smash people together who are expected to communicate complicated ideas in second and third languages.
