Soccer is way more fun to watch just because ads don't take up 75% of the game time. You will spend 4 hours watching an NFL game just to only see 60 minutes of gameplay. Complete waste of time if you're on your own. Its the reason why so many people would rather watch redzone than actual NFL games.

Soccer is about as entertaining as watching a marathon. They run. Sometimes they hit a ball, but mostly they run and pretend to be hurt. I dont watch any sport, dont see the point, but like, some sports have actual things going on.

Football would be extremely fun to watch if ads didn't take up 75% of screentime. This is why I prefer to watch redzone over actual games unless my team is playing. This problem is in basketball also, advertisments take up way too much time and us Americans really need to be more pissed off about this in my opinion, in other countries nobody would stand for this blatant commercialization of sport.

I just had so much fun watching preseason football yesterday with my gf. Even though the Seahawks got their ass kicked it was really fun to watch. And as someone who's watched a lot of golf in their life, golf is way more boring to watch than football

I was with you until the end. Saying that people that enjoy it or most lie to themselves is so wildly weird and makes no sense and is rude at the same time. I love football and fine I'll say it soccer and baseball and all sorts of winter sports. I even played football when I over tk the IS . I did not lie to myself when I watched my Bengals do well or fight and do fun offensive plays etc. I s ooo my way bbq food or drink beer when I watch sports . I find that not necessary

Sounds like your problem is. It with football but with nfl refs and rule enforcement. You should consider watching the cfl. Also you didn't mention what's actually almost making the nfl unwatchable, the commercials
