A lot of these OPs don't realise an opinion is being really "unpopular" because it's just stupid.

"We consent that we should kill this guy, who is unconcious, and we have his signature right here" "We consent that this coffee place right here should be demolished, because we're a larger corporation with a higher level of consent comparing to them" There are so many plotholes but to ignore them and to say (your title) is why the opinion is rejected in society - because it's not how it works, and again, it's pure stupidity.

I mean yeah? If someone consents to you murdering them, then you have still murdered someone, and that is still against the law. Also consents can be tricky, like how do we know the written consent wasn't faked or forced onto them?
