so is OP a scalper, or..? the same people hoarding children's toys to resell them at an absurd markup are of the same ilk as the ones who were hoarding toilet paper & hand sanitizer during covid. it's extremely selfish, even if it's not something necessary for survival I don't see how it's entitled to be outraged at one person hoarding resources. if they think they specifically are entitled to a toy or whatever, yeah, that's weird. but the stories I've seen are of people who went out of their way to go to the store the day something was released to get something for their kid, only to arrive as some middle-aged dude walks off with their shopping cart full of every one of that item in the store. then it makes sense that they're annoyed imo "just making money" isn't an excuse to be an asshole. expressing disapproval of antisocial behavior isn't "sitting around complaining" imo, especially when it's about things that aren't at all luxury items but get marked up to oblivion as a result
