+65 World is going down because of the people, amirite?

by Anonymous 2 days ago

I only want to point out that the reply above yours says the same thing. And who wants another holocaust?

by Independent_Ear 2 days ago

Half the world's population seemingly. People all over are frothing over the idea of immigrants dying or being punished.

by Annabellebotsfo 2 days ago

If you really consider what you're saying, doesn't that seem a bit (extremely) hyperbolic? Are people frothing over the idea of immigrants dying or being punished? Can you give an example of people wanting immigrants dead? On some level, you have to know that's not true and you're using extreme language for emphasis. Sneaking across the American border is illegal, right? Actively looking for them and deporting them is lawful, right? Are they being unjustly beaten or murdered or is anyone calling for that? No. What you're saying and apparently how you think is absolutely crazy, wrong, and dangerous.

Lots of people, the far-right in Europe is clamoring for mass deportation. Before the holocaust, the far-right clamored for mass deportation. It turned out to be impractical because of the size of the ethnic group and the fact no one wanted to take them. Sound familiar?

by Anonymous 2 days ago

What makes them far right? I've followed what's happening in the UK a little bit. There's a movement of people simply flying the flag of their country and automatically being labeled racist for it. I do think if violence over immigration happens, it will be in Europe.

You mean deportation of ILLEGAL immigrants?

by Anonymous 2 days ago

Makes sense

That too 💯

One of the issues with you claiming to be the ‘rational' and ‘objective' is that your ilk on the right wing NEVER has adequate evidence or justification for any of their actions or initiatives, and when they do it's always emotional, or worse, faith based in its justifications. The real thing holding you back is that there are critical thinkers out there that can analyze your BS and call you out on it.

by Anonymous 2 days ago

There are many instances of debates where clearly the left wing was more emotionally based (I mean even the pillars are more individual emotional focused) BUT THAT'S NOT WHAT I'M TALKING ABOUT nor do I think taking emotions into account is bad. I'm talking about when the emotions take control so much so that only what you say can be right and has to be accepted and that can happen regarding the party.

The right wing is not innocent... Trump and anyone who supports his executive decision to make burning the flag illegal does not understand the Constitution or what American freedom is about

by Independent_Ear 2 days ago

I agree with this. Don't bring race into everything when it has nothing to do with it then.

by Anonymous 2 days ago

Yeah this has the smell of "I'm racist and homophobic and everyone hates me, ugh why is everyone so intolerant"

by Fabulous_Whole 2 days ago

I actually think it's religion that's OPs primary motivation (we all know they take ‘love thy neighbour' very seriously).

by Anonymous 2 days ago

Oh, rest assured, you are not worth screaming about. You're barely worth these two sentences.

by wilfredo94 2 days ago

I'm having a hard time following. Can you give specific examples?

by xframi 2 days ago

People are using tolerance as an excuse to not think critically. This then encourages the intolerant and controlling to take over.

by Nestorsmith 2 days ago

Ahh yes, the people who have been begging for healthcare access and the people putting migrants in concentration camps are exactly the same. If anything, the healthcare people are worse because they made the concentration camp people feel bad : (

by ivy35 2 days ago

What does this have to do with anything I said? I wish we'd all have access to health care but ultimately it's not my country and I wasn't referring to anything US related. More than that exist on the rest of the planet. Second, no, I don't think it's the same people because (assuming they're from the same group but idk anything abou concentration camps for MIGRANTS), people can be different even if they're part of the same group. Wasn't referring to a group, unless that group is humans.

by Anonymous 2 days ago

Depends on what you mean by all accepting. What's everyone accepting that's hurting society?

by Anonymous 2 days ago

Dude did you read OPs statement? He wrote 2 paragraphs without really saying anything specific - what's hurting society is regression, and anyone who opposes progress.

by Anonymous 2 days ago

That's what I was asking for is specifics. I don't see how it could have came off any other way? For the record, you're correct

by Anonymous 2 days ago

Its wild how the people preaching ‘acceptance' are usually the quickest to reject anyone who doesn't agree with them.

by Anonymous 2 days ago

You can have whatever ‘personal truth' that you want to have, just don't expect anyone else to share it. Wish more people would accept this.. but take a look outside and see that the ones who don't are the ones that praise love and acceptance and shove down your throat how you should be. Do you see the irony?

by Anonymous 2 days ago

Precisely my point. They accept as long as it fits their narrative and they can't even see it, or don't want to imo.

by Anonymous 2 days ago

Oh man. Get ready to be called a bunch of names by these so-called "tolerant" people lmao.

by Anonymous 2 days ago

Every idea is a precious little snowflake, worthy of life and celebration.. even the overtly stupid ones.

by Anonymous 2 days ago

Keep riding that high horse, my good man

by Anonymous 2 days ago

I think I agree with you, although (and it may be because its like 4 am where I am) the wording is a little odd so I'm having trouble following.

by Helpful-Fix9417 2 days ago

Sorry I had a hard time putting it into words.

by Anonymous 2 days ago

Op you are correct. Never change brother
