It depends to me. Did the original artist ask for advice, help or in any other way seem to want critique or stuff like that? Because if it's, then the reason for it being disrespectful is that you're drawing over something that people did work hard on and was perhaps super happy about. I donno, it's like if you go outside in a set of clothes you think is beautiful but then some dick is like "you know, this could do your set better" and then rip your clothes apart. Unless your a teenager this should be common knowledge, atleast in my head
