Most Asians would agree. Especially in Chinese culture warm-lukwarm water is easier for digestion.

Don't they usually drink hot water, not lukewarm? When I was in China they always served basically tea water without the tea

Not at all. I drank "cold" (slightly warm because even their cold water setting is slightly heated) water at my in-laws house and they were horrified and telling me I was going to get sick. It's taking tiny sips of boiling water over the span of an hour or nothing.

It absorbs better into your system too

I don't know about lukewarm, but I don't like ice water. It's too shocking to be refreshing, I'm almost annoyed by it and can't drink as much. Straight from the tap, I guess room temp is my favorite.

This is only a bad opinion because you're referring to lukewarm TAP WATER

I like lukewarm water too

You would love China. Even the 7/11s, you go to one in the dead of summer, 95 and humid and the ice cold drinks are basically lukewarm.

Finding cold water was difficult in Greece. It was cool at best. Ice cold didn't exist.

Late fall through most of Spring I only drink room temp water. Later Spring to early Fall I drink mostly cold water but only drink room temp water with meals. I live in a hot climate so cold water during the hot months except with meals.
