Pumpkin Spice = NOT Good, amirite?

People trumpeting their hatred for pumpkin spice is as big an epidemic every (checks watch) late August/early September as the pumpkin spice flavored items themselves. It's not an unpopular opinion. It is as popular as people enjoying those drinks, and at least the enjoyers are just letting others live 🤷‍♀️

People used to talk like this about vegans like 5 or 6 years ago - certain people loudly being like "vegans are SO obnoxious," meanwhile I have never ever heard a vegan bring up their diet when it wasn't perfectly necessary to do so (like ordering at a restaurant).

I 100% agree. Pumpkin Spice is not even that great. I can do a pumpkin cookie or bread here and there, but I definitely don't look forward to fall just so I can have pumpkin spice everything! eta: added a missing word

Although Starbucks pumpkin spice syrup has pumpkin in it, and a lot of other "pumpkin spice" products do, too. It's a whole thing; people heard the "pumpkin" in "pumpkin spice" when it started to get popular as a general flavor and had the same expectation because they didn't realize it didn't literally have pumpkin in it, and companies filled the expectation. So now it does actually mean "pumpkin + pumpkin spice"... sometimes.

I avoid anything that says pumpkin "spice" if it says taste like pumpkin "pie" that's what I go for. Everywhere adds way too much of this spice and it's disgusting.

I don't really care about OP's opinion. I just want to say to all the other enjoyers of PSLs, all you really need is some milk and Tazo Pumpkin Spice Chai tea bags. Make the tea and sweeten it to your preferred level, then add milk and ice. Way cheaper than Starbucks, potentially healthier...but hopefully tastier.
