Women get killed in domestic violence situations more often than men. Over 65% of domestic homicide victims are women. So no. Aside from the fact that it really doesn't matter because domestic violence is always a tragedy, no matter the gender.

What if I tell you, people (especially men), are starving for attention and connection, and as it is very apperant for everyone on the internet, rage brings the most engagement, so it is a viable strategy. It's basically the same thing when kids make their parents angry so they pay attention to them in some way.
