+53 The classic gray box "soulless" office cubicles are by far the best office environment to work in as an employee. amirite?

I mean it's not the best looking thing in the world, but the privacy and bit of noise reduction it provides is a massive stress reducer.

I agree with you, cubicles where you could do your work without having to see anyone was one of the better solutions for most 9-5 office workers. Before that, if you weren't high enough for your own office, you would have to share an office. They'd put 2, 3, even 4 desks with no dividers, hey just work like that. Obviously having your own office was better, but few people got that. Now, I work from home, and have my own home office, and that's the best.

I was not a fan of my cubicle, my company moved away from it and went the route of offices and WFH positions. I highly prefer the office.

What do you have against wfh 😂

I don't have anything against it lol. I just meant I prefer the office to the cubicles

I personally can't focus at home.

Maybe second to working from home. I'd definitely prefer having a space to myself if I were back in office.

Yes, open office spaces were horrible.

I worked in cubicles in a large-scale environment (where the whole floor was a maze of cubicles), and in a small-scale environment (where just our small team had cubicles in a separate office). I really liked them, visual privacy while having the opportunity to connect verbally.
