+68 Actors who play villains should be paid more, amirite?

What would the incentive be for actors to play 'good guys' then? It's acting. The role is a role. Why should someone playing a villain get paid more when they are almost certainly in the TV Show/Movie less than the main actor and doing less work? Certainly an unpopular opinion, I'll give you that but not sure I agree with the logic.

It's somewhat the nature of the business, remember that many "non villains" on GOT got hate heavily too, and the girl who plays Ellie gets way more hate then Abby

Jack Nicholson's bank account did just fine, I'm pretty sure.

Unpopular for sure, but also extremely illogical.

Extremely illogical? You aware of how many people experience parasocial relationships? It's a lot more than you might think. Anyways, I'm sure these villain actors are crying all the way to the bank.

I mean it's more difficult to be funny than to be evil. So funny actors should be paid more.

They can try to negotiate that if they want. But let's not forget how much hate gets spewed regardless of whether someone is a protagonist or antagonist. Just in the Star Wars cast: Jon Boyega, Ahmed Best, Jake Lloyd, and Kelly Marie Tran got enormous amounts of bile spewed at them based on their characters. Hell, far more than their antagonist counter parts even.

Henry Fonda and Lee Van Cleef would have wanted a word. Playing a villain never made them unpopular.

Nikolaj Coster-Waldau was earning around $500,000 per episode in earlier seasons of GoT??
