Yeah no I agree... I mean if a cop is looking then I'd say stealing is like super duper bad and I would NEVER. But yeah no this is the most moral response.

I will never understand people that have fish as pets. It just feels like abuse. The same with birds that are kept in a cage

Not sure it's the same when birds are able to breathe air, unlike fish that need water.... But many fish can and do thrive as pets. Many people abuse their fish and small animals because they assume a small animal needs less space. Hamsters and nice are also horribly mistreated as well. These animals need BIG enclosures and a ton of research. They're not "baby's first" pets. Personally I think cats are "baby's first" pets.
