I'll disagree there. "If you don't take me back, I'll kill myself" is very clear.

Seems like you are projecting your own experiences on other people. There are people who use emotional displays as a form of manipulation. Most people dont do that. Most people are just emotional and need someone to listen.

Seems like you are missing the point since I was very specific about what I was addressing.

No, I'm talking about manipulators wanting to use current manosphere talking points as a smoke screen and thus doing yet more harm to men. How so? Do you assume any and all emotional displays are manipulative in nature? Do you not understand what is and isn't manipulation?

Yep same here. It's not easy for everyone to hide their emotions.

It's not about hiding emotions. It's about not using them to manipulate. Would you agree "If you don't take me back, I'll kill myself" is emotionally manipulative?

What does that have to do with anything? As I said, there is a difference between being emotionally open and emotional displays as manipulation.

Former career crybaby here; I'm just easily distressed and really bad at managing my emotions. Fortunately (...) I've learned to harness my autism to let me disassociate from them ever since I learned that said crying made people upset with me. Thanks, trauma.

I absolutely agree. Manipulation (emotional or otherwise) is a sign of immaturity in my book.

"Men don't express their feelings enough!" "Men express their feelings too much!" I'm tired boss.
