This is just a preference and isn't unpopular. Plenty like stylized graphics. Plenty like hyper realism. It's not unpopular to like a highly popular graphical style

I think hyper realistic games dont look good because they try and capture how a camera looks at the world, not the human eye. That's at least my big problem with hyper realistic looking games and why I think the realistic looking games from PS3 look better than stuff after honestly. I forgot who said it but it stuck with me. The human eye is imperfect and doesn't seem to capture life as good as a camera so games end up looking kinda weird because they try and capture that intense detail when the human eye can't and the camera can.
