Popular opinion… slow internet is worse than no internet because you actually sit there frustrated while trying to use it instead of thinking "oh no internet, I'll go for a nice walk or read a book"

Absolutely fibre is better. But that isn't in question is it? It's which is better, poor internet and no internet. OP says no internet but hasn't really had to choose. Many have and their choice is poor internet.

Obviously, it's better to have Internet. Is it more frustrating to have slower internet than no Internet in a rich country, also yes. When you say that many have made their choice, it wasn't a true choice. It was a choice based on limited offers. If they had more choices and they were affordable (not even talking about the fiber), no one would choose slow Internet. It can be very annoying some time.

Yeah of course it's annoying. But you're still choosing internet, you're not getting rid of it. Your, at best are just taking a break and coming back to internet later. You're not choosing no internet, your choosing internet later.

Yes, I understand that. But overall, an entire generation had it every single day for years and still used it over no internet. When you have to hand the choice for longer than 20 minutes, you'll soon learn which is better. Your not choosing no internet, you're choosing to put it aside for a while. True no internet is worse. I would say this depends on how you use it. If it is primarily for entertainment, I agree wholheartedly. If it is for something business related, then some internet is better than no internet.
