People of the stone age couldn't imagine the iron age. People of the iron age couldn't imagine the age of technology.

Are you kidding??? Read a science, tech or computer magazine or website. There is stuff that we are constantly working on but haven't reached yet. Cheap gimmicky stuff doesn't last anyway, but real leaps in technology come every few years. The dam smart phone didn't exist when I was in high school, electric cars were novelty items, tablets didn't exist in their current form.

well since you read a lot, name 3 things that people are working on that haven't been reached yet. smartphones didn't exist back then but now that they do and have been at their peak there's nothing more to be added to it. every smartphone brand has been putting the same phone out for the past 5 years without any big improvement. as for electric cars, they are the future but the future is now. what i meant is that every car manufacturer has created the most beautiful car they've ever had but since they think they have to get better every second they just keep ruining it. they try so hard to be „futuristic" and it's not cutting it. they'll have 50 inch tvs as their dash in no time which one one wants. this isn't improvement, that's just „there's nothing we can do better so we keep adding unnecessary things and call them improvements".

Can we regrow teeth yet, let alone limbs? No? The we still have a ways to go.

Wow, to lack imagination to that level is impressive in its own way.
