SNL skits aren't that funny, amirite?

Everyones favourite SNL is from when they were a teenager or young adult. Basically the really good sketches live on in history and the weak ones no one remembers.

Usually they are just ok. They focus way too much on the guest stars who aren't professional comedians.

This isnt an unpopular opinion. It has its moments, but live sketch comedy is always gonna be hit and miss.

Couldn't agree more. I'm in the UK and last year decided to watch a full show and and was just shocked how unfunny and sometimes chaotic it was.

When I was a kid in the 80's, I would stay up and watch SNL and it was funny af. It was good in the 90"s - 2020. Now it just sucks. I tried watching some clips of it recently and I just couldn't. The best era for me was back in the 80's when they'd also show the earlier seasons
