It should be centred on the Pacific so bad aliens don't realise anyone but fish live here.

The most common flag colors are red, white, and blue 🧐🧐

Behold france
by Hour_Share2 days ago
Wouldn't a flag of Earth just use the same design as the United Nations flag which displays every single continent?
by Anonymous2 days ago
Well if you google a world map, nearly all of them have Africa in the middle so that's the default anyway? Unless you mean leave out all the other continents
by Practical-Dinner-3222 days ago
There are plenty of different world maps. Pacific countries have Europe and Africa to the left and the Americas to the right. Quite a few American maps have the Americas in the centre and simply have Eastern Eurasia and Australia to the left and Western Eurasia and Africa to the right.
by Anonymous2 days ago
Never seen an American map with Australia on the left. Always centered on 0 longitude.
by Anonymous2 days ago
I don't think I have ever seen a map with America in the center, and I studied in america
by Anonymous2 days ago
Is there a single country in Africa that can even make it to space at this point?
by Anonymous2 days ago
Technically South Africa, but it was a white guy.
by cydneyschimmel2 days ago
Why exactly would we choose the least influential, least developed, and leased achieved to represent us?
by cydneyschimmel2 days ago
Africa is like a deadbeat dad that hasn't done anything in years but it's constantly talking about how he made you and then wants to remind you about that time that you guys built pyramids in the sand and it's like okay but where have you been for the last 3,000 years Dad? Carthage burned and he just walked out.
by Anonymous2 days ago
Not only is Africa the birthplace of our species i think this was disproven many times years ago. I think flag of Earth can fit all continents as the one of United Earth in Star Trek
by Anonymous2 days ago
It definitely has not been disproven, there have just been discoveries of other hominid species in other parts of the world, but these species also evolved in Africa, they just migrated out in earlier waves than Homo sapiens. If I'm wrong, please enlighten me with a reputable source
by meredith682 days ago
Out of Africa theory is still overwhelmingly the consensus, the genetic evidence is too strong. When the outmigration happened, where homo erectus became Homo sapiens, and if there were various waves of outmigration or mainly one big one is the stuff that is contested academically
by Hot_Angle2 days ago
It was not, the idea we all originated from east Africa is more up for debate but still from Africa
by Anonymous2 days ago
Nope. We are from Africa, except for a few genes from archaic humans like Neanderthals, who evolved from earlier hominids. Who also came from Africa.
by Anonymous2 days ago
When africa's senators on the galactic council actually have more political sway than america or europe, then we can change it. otherwise, it's in bad taste to play favorites on the world scale
by Ludiemedhurst2 days ago
Well, Europe, where I live, would be in on, as Africa's hat.
by Anonymous2 days ago
Odd to have strong opinions on a hypothetical flag of a hypothetical scenario lol It should probably feature the entire planet, or at least the ones who are running the show here
by Annamarie962 days ago
No, it should be like a pixel art of all the flags of every country put together lol.
by Anonymous2 days ago
How about no. Maybe the earth flag shouldn't favorite any 1 continent, especially not one with so extreme human right problems.
by Severe-Yesterday-5502 days ago
We should put all the continents on our flag
by Chemical_Drive2 days ago
Umm, why would it need to be a map? Why not a DNA strand.
by Junior_Exercise2 days ago
Out of Africa theory doesn't have the support it once did, sorry

Genomic sequencing is unable to account for several groups due to a variety of missing links, particularly of note the denisovans of whom very little is presently known or understood. A more recent theory includes the prospect that a variety of hominid species may have appeared independently and not with direct connection to early hominid species of African origin.
by SectorTraditional9182 days ago
Homo sapiens originated in Africa tho.
by Anonymous2 days ago
That seems to be entirely unsupported. All current evidence points to Africa, most of all that Africans have the highest genetic diverse. Our ancestors had been down to a few thousand individuals about 1 million years ago and rebred from there, with some groups afterwards leaving earlier, becoming Neanderthals, Denivosans and some ghost species. Who got absorbed back into the extant single species homo sapiens genome.
by Anonymous1 day ago
You bored?
by AggravatingGlass69121 day ago
I want to know what they're talking about that homo sapiens didn't come from Africa
by Anonymous1 day ago
It isn't consensus, you are likely aware that the greater scientific community is very much committed to maintaining the old consensus. Getting the scientific community to unite around a doctrine or concept not in line with their established consensus takes decades
by SectorTraditional9181 day ago
It also has the prettiest and most memorable map of all the other countries
by Anonymous1 day ago
Found the American !!
by Anonymous1 day ago
But the neanderthals were from Europe
by Anonymous1 day ago
Homo sapiens encountered them in the middle east and Europe but they came from Africa too, from our same common ancestor, just left Africa much earlier
by meredith681 day ago
No. There have never been neanderthal remains found in Africa. However I am also a fan of the deep state theory
by Anonymous1 day ago
they're still a Homo species that originated from Africa
by Anonymous1 day ago
I'm pretty sure they never found neanderthal remains in Africa
by Anonymous1 day ago
We're not neaderthals though, nor evolved from them. They also came from Africa originally too though.
by Hungry_Camera90951 day ago
No they didn't. Also, neanderthal genes are still in the current population.
by Anonymous1 day ago
Were you responding to yourself and just missclicked?
by Anonymous1 day ago
no...it's pretty common knowledge and people asking "CiTe YouR SouRce" are the most 0 IQ people you can have a conversation with. Google and other search tools are free and you'll end up learning something in the process
