+95 In and Out burger way is all hype, amirite?

by Anonymous 2 days ago

A double cheeseburger at Culver's costs about as much as one from In & Out, and Culver's is significantly better.

They're more expensive, but the rise in quality is a positive correlation

What do you define as "quality"

by Anonymous 2 days ago

Flavor is a big factor

Comparing chick-fila to in-and-out is deranged

by Anonymous 2 days ago

An yea the famous burgers of Chik-fil-a!

I agree... I would add that Chic Filet is way over hyped as well. Same with Whataburger. Maybe even toss in Five Guys (although their fries are pretty good and you get a lot of them)... WAY overpriced for mid to less than mid food.

local spots almost always better quality , better value it is overrated so are all fast chains including whataburger, 5 guys, shake shack, etc

In n Out is not worth it. People say it's the quality you get in terms of bang for your buck, but if cost is the issue I'd rather save up and have shake shack instead.

Had the same experience my first time while I was out in Cali. Super overhyped, didn't match my expectations at all. Then they started opening locations out my area… and now it's the only burger chain I go to on the regs. High quality ingredients, cheaper than any other chain besides McDonalds. They get a 9.5/10 in my book. Best burger goes to Lazy Dog, hands down.

It's a good burger, but as someone who moved to California it is way over hyped. There's way better local spots here imo

Those are good burgers Walter

You have to have one animal style

by Anonymous 2 days ago

I swear 90% of people who hate in n out don't get it animal style which is what makes it stand out

I was pretty unimpressed by In-N-Out burger the first time I had one. Not sure what the fuss is about, seems pretty standard fast food burger.

by Professional-Tea1102 2 days ago

The only people that over hype it are people who didn't grow up around it. As someone who grew up in California it was a good burger spot that was affordable. For fast food it's good for the price. It is still probably the cheapest of the big chains.

I are there when I was in Vegas and I was super disappointed. I'll give it a meh/10 at best. I've had much better burgers.

by WillExpensive 2 days ago

Not too unpopular I don't think. It's good for its price and quality of service and that's it. The fries are horrible

by Antonettemitche 2 days ago

The burgers are meh, but the things they sell under the guise of being fries are an insult to flavor.
