I've never denied gloves to the very rare customer who asked. That being said, if you're gonna be pretentious about it, I'd be more than happy to charge you for gloves.

They do, you just have to politely ask I once ordered extremely spicy wings, but dude to my job I regularly have little cuts all over my fingers. I asked for gloves so I wasn't in wound burning hell, and they happily obliged :] I've also give the occasional customer gloves when I worked in food service. Easy peasy
