i hate when people say 'you only feel this because this' sm, no actually some people may just find moving stressful even if theyre organised

Tbh no amount of planning and organization is going to make me feel that moving all my stuff is not stressful, or anywhere close to "fun"

I've moved 3 times in 5 years. With kids. Including a cross-country move. All took lots of planning. Like days and weeks. Still somewhat stressful. Especially when you're paying people to help and trying to get as much accomplished as possible in a short time.

You've moved 13 times. You have experience. People who only move 1-2 times do not have that experience, hence stress.

People who just stress and don't do anything to alleviate that stress are a bit silly in my opinion. The first time I moved from a property I was aware of all the horror stories of people taking all day and the people moving in turning up while you are moving out. So based on that in the weeks leading up I sorted and packed my stuff starting with non essentials and the night before almost everything was packed ready. At 6 am I got the Luton van and was out by 10 am when people often take until 2 pm. It was actually quite relaxing on the day to have plenty of time. So I just don't get why people who stress don't plan ahead and make it easy.

You can still plan ahead and start early if you aren't experienced. It doesn't take experience to know that big events require planning and preparation.

Moved like 2 times I hate taking stuff down making my room into a empty void with none of my personality or care all my stuff put into a box at the whisky of the road and driver and possibly left behind or lost in the car or road
