Humans should not have smart phones. amirite?

Saying we're not advanced enough is crazy. I agree usage is very high and some people should cut back. But to say not advanced enough is insane. Give any logical and fundamental reason for why we aren't advanced enough. You calling out it effects well being makes no sense to us not being advanced enough

It's not yet clear if having more and more tech actually leads to better more fulfilling lives. We've extended human life spans. Instead of suffering at 50 for 2weeks before dying we instead suffer at 80 for 2 years before dying. Imagine giving your dog a small screen that shows dogs playing. Your dog spends hours on hours immobile staring at the screen. That can't be good. Dogs run and sprint and move.

only problem i see with phones are social media apps that rely on short form entertainment, like reels. parents also just need to monitor their kids online activity and probably not give them a phone till theyre ready
