Until you discover what humidity does to all your electronics 😂 And the wet green clothes you get out of the built in closet after a couple of months of not using it. Or the electricity bill after running a giant dehumidifier per floor. Or the mold nightmare...

There are usually shady places next to most of the beach/pool bars and plenty of places with AC at least where I have been. I dunno about you, but I love working next to a big body of water, I recommend it, it's a delight :D

I keep trying it with umbrellas and sunglasses but maybe I'm missing something or maybe my line of work isn't cut out for it.

I think cafes and restaurants shade is what you should look after. Umbrellas don't provide enough cover imo, especially for a full day of PC work. If you are mostly working with clients and you have a lot of meetings, being next to a pool or an ocean/sea just under an umbrella can totally work (as long as it's not too noisy)
