+60 Raisins belong in Mac and Cheese, amirite?

by Time-Coat-5048 15 hours ago

Raisins in anything are gross. Just put Prunes in the Mac & cheese. Go big or go home i say

by Anonymous 15 hours ago

Same.

by Various_Chance8021 15 hours ago

More like rage bait.

by Anonymous 14 hours ago

There's a difference between unpopular and psychotic…

by Anonymous 14 hours ago

What about your curry?

by Stock-Resolution 13 hours ago

No dice. I guess I have to retract my ‘raisins are versatile' statement cause there's not many things I'd put them in that they aren't already common with.

by Old-Wrangler1941 13 hours ago

My parents do that but I've never felt like they added to it personally

by Sad-Marketing 13 hours ago

Yes! There's this pasta salad that sometimes appears at the deli counter called "Bombay chicken" and it's yellow curry with chicken, pasta shells, green onions and raisins. It's so good.

by Anonymous 13 hours ago

Also good with a some diced water chestnut for texture and crunch.

by Zestyclose-Soft-842 12 hours ago

Curry chicken salad with raisins goes HARD

by SpraySignificant9461 12 hours ago

👀 cranberries would be good tho. Hold up.

by boganarianna 12 hours ago

You are right, but they still go in chicken salad.

by FalconDue 12 hours ago

This is mad . Go straight to jail U have a somewhat solid point though

by Wolfariel 11 hours ago

Like ketchup in/on a baked potato.

by Free-Dinner-5399 11 hours ago

Straight to jail

by emmettolson 11 hours ago

THIS is an unpopular opinion

by Langellis 11 hours ago

*Raises hand* I will have you know that I DO have the opposite opinion. Raisins belong no where near mac and cheese. Mac and cheese is supposed to be silky and creamy, it doesn't need any 'extra texture'!

by Anonymous 11 hours ago

Have you ever tried it yourself? If not, you don't have an opinion. You just think you have an opinion.

by Collinscatalina 11 hours ago

You realize this is a ridiculous argument? Because I know what raisins taste like and I know what mac and cheese tastes like and I know I won't like the two flavors together.

by Anonymous 10 hours ago

It doesn't have to have an opposite opinion to be unpopular from the jump.

by Langellis 10 hours ago

But an opinion can be unpopular without an opposite popular opinion. Something can be unpopular all on its own.

by Langellis 10 hours ago

No, it has to be an opinion that people hold for it to be unpopular.

by Collinscatalina 9 hours ago

Wait what? What if I like an upcoming indie band, can I say that I have an unpopular taste because not many people listen to that band? Or no

by Bernard63 9 hours ago

Yet the entire common section saying no to putting raisins in mac and cheese. So yeah evidently I'd say it is an unpopular opinion

by Anonymous 9 hours ago

If I come to your cookout and find raisins in my Mac and cheese we're not friends anymore.

by Anonymous 8 hours ago

They are good in cookies, but the dehydrated cranberries are better.

by camrenmitchell 8 hours ago

Nah this is just rage baiting you don't even believe this

by Anonymous 8 hours ago

Never heard this one before lol

by Anonymous 8 hours ago

That is so gross

by Anonymous 7 hours ago

i don't even believe that you believe this

by Anonymous 7 hours ago

If you do, you have to tell us how it is!!!

by Anonymous 7 hours ago

"It has raisins! You like raisins!"

by Beautiful-Money-2108 6 hours ago

"Do you have any idea what the street value of this mountain is?"

by Anonymous 6 hours ago

No. They. Don't. Straight to culinary prison for you.

by judahreilly 6 hours ago

There are so many good options to bring Mac and cheese to the next level. Mac and cheese goes amazingly with ring bologna. Either sliced and mixed in, or as a side dish. You can also add dried tomatoes as a much better alternative to op's raisins. Also, you can totally add spices to your Mac and cheese, pepper is the easy choice. But I personally love a curry kick to my Mac Last, mix up those cheeses, don't just go with kraft, and call it perfect. There are so many many cheeses you can go with to bring different flavors.

by Anonymous 5 hours ago

Pickled jalapeños are also amazing with baked mac n cheese.

by Anonymous 5 hours ago

Use a blend of Monterey Jack and sharp Vermont cheddar, and toss in a drained can of Ro-Tel diced tomatoes and chili. It's not gourmet, but it's easy, cheap, and filling.

by Zestyclose-Soft-842 5 hours ago

I... feel sick now

by SpiritualSafe 5 hours ago

This is probably the worst opinion I've ever heard in my life

by Anonymous 4 hours ago

You woke up today and chose violence. Have the day you deserve, darlin'.

by Anonymous 4 hours ago

Disgusting

by No_Education 4 hours ago

What about a spicy mac and cheese with a side of fruit jelly? Texture would match better and being able to omit/control the ratio in each bite could make it an interesting and not absolutely horrid experience

by Anonymous 3 hours ago

That sounds even more horrible than OP's raisins. Hats off to you, sir and/or madame.

by Cultural-Arm-6740 3 hours ago

Saying pineapple on pizza would be a typical unpopular opinion. But this is straight up WTF territory.

by Substantial-South172 3 hours ago

Gross

by Anonymous 2 hours ago

That is one of the grossest things ive heard. In culinary jail, you are guilty.

by Anonymous 2 hours ago

If I am saying what I am thinking I will be imprisoned

by Anonymous 1 hour ago

No

by Anonymous 1 hour ago

Wtf

by Rough_Ad 1 hour ago

Ok... I try not to say it, but raisins don't taste like wine and this is just an unhinged idea.

by IndependenceRoyal741 55 minutes ago

Rage bait

by Anonymous 49 minutes ago

This is what the stewed tomatoes are for though

by Anonymous 21 minutes ago
