I'm retired, and I have two kids. The vast majority of incoming calls I get are from Medicare scammers trying to get me to switch to a scammy Medicare Advantage Plan. The irony is that when I realize a call is a scam I feel a sense of relief. At least it's not one of my kids asking for money or relating the latest crisis in their life, or a medical provider reminding me that I'm overdue for an appointment.
