A steak made in a pan is superior to one made on a grill, amirite?

Naw man, charcoal with some mesquite chips

I prefer mine microwaved

Only if you don't have time to boil it.

In milk of course.

Recently switched to powdered milk to really get as much milk succulence as possible

60% more milk per milk.

Microwave on high then sear in the toaster

Boiled hamburgers are the best and I'm not even joking

The absolute best way to make a steak is to reverse sear over charcoal and finish in a screaming hot cast iron

The absolute peak way to make a steak, especially if you don't have access to those nuclear steak house ovens

The easiest way that I have found is to use a really good air fryer. It is not the best, but I can get a steak better than most restaurants.

I did a tomahawk in the pellet smoker for 2 hours at 225 until the steak reached 115 internal. Then used a propane torch to sear. So delicious.

Dry brine, on the Traeger at 165 until internal is 105, then onto the scorching hot cast iron pan to sear. Essentially the same concept. Love the results I get.

Yeah, I just don't want to get another pan dirty, lol. I've also used my griddle to sear.

This is just a preference of how you like your food prepared. If you asked 10 people how they like their steak, you'll get 11 answers.

Correct

Too many people fail to get a proper sear because they're not using the appropriate skillet (cast iron or stainless steel) at a high enough temperature. An improperly seared steak is always disappointing.

This is true. I had leftover steak from Texas Roadhouse after my mom's birthday dinner (I apologize, my family has no taste) I was able to revive the leftover portion later that night in a cast iron pan with butter and a rosemary sprig.

Also true for burgers. Is this unpopular?

Air fryer steak is delicious.

Less work in general? Tell that to my air fryer

10/10 best steaks ive made are on the pan (and not cast iron) wife prefers my steaks over restuarants, my sister is a STEAK FIEND she asks me to come cook steaks cuz her husband sucks at it. My cousins were disappointed in themselves when my steaks were juicer and more tender then theirs. Pan wins every time. But its also in the prep. Washing it. Letting it dry a bit. Marinating it/seasoning then just age-ing it for 4 hours to 2 days in the fridge then waiting for it to get to room temp before cooking it on the pan. I cook seriously.

Why on earth would you wash a steak? The rest makes sense
