GOT has actually been remembered far less fondly in the last little while with a lot of people roaring about SA violence and glorification. Not to mention, a series is only as good as its ending and it really hurt its reputation. That's why no one really talks about house of the dragon tbh.

I love GoT, I read all the books before the show even started. I got to see my favorite characters come to life with legendary performances. GOT would have never been made without The Sopranos. Not just Gandolfini as Tony was amazing. The writing, every part, every tiny detail, every actor. That show is the best of all time. Not only is it good, but it's timeless. It captured an old-school mentality in a real-time culture.
