The eating part is probably the hardest for me tbh. I've eaten an average of 3000 calories everyday for about 3 months now and only gained about 10 lbs. I'm 6ft tall so I don't think my height affects my weight gain too much.

10 lbs in 3 months is amazing man, I most likely weigh less then you (I say that because I've not met/seen many people skinnier then me) and at 6ft I know the struggles, no matter how much I eat whether it be absolute crap or healthy food I find it impossible to put on weight! Keep it up dude if you can put on 10lbs in 3 months imagine where you'll be in another 3 and another 3 after that.

It could be worse. You could turn 30 and look like 50

Why do you have a teen haircut if you want to look older? This part seems like an easy fix.

gym

I actually have been going to the gym for a few months now but I guess because of my genetics it really hard for me to bulk. My brother is almost 30 and eats like a child (junk food and 5 sodas a day) and he still has the same lean physique.

Don't sweat it. I had/ have the opposite problem. I lost most of my hair by 21. I shaved my head and never looked back. When I was 25 most people assumed I was in my 40's. I'm in my 40's and most people assume I'm in my 50's. I am hoping to have genes like my dad where I still look like I'm 55 when I'm 70.

Looking 15 at 25 sucks. Looking 25 at 35 is good. Looking 35 at 45 is great.

I literally have the same facial hair genetics of a 13 year old lol

Once you are 35 and older, you will probably get that older look you think is better

by Anonymous 1 week ago

Well. Maturity plays a role in looking young.

So you're tall, slender, and youthful. My heart goes out to you. - 45yo overweight, bald, hairy, short male

My facial hair started coming in thicker when I was 28 to 30. During the pandemic, I grew a mustache after shaving my whole life. I called it my "quarn stache" as a joke and my girlfriend said she actually liked it on me, so I kept it. I absolutely do get treated differently in public now that I look my age. There are other things that'll age you up, as well when you get into your 30s. Your metabolism will slow down, hair will start lightening, bags under your eyes... Ect. Don't stress too hard, your body will catch up.

At least I guess you don't have to deal with being called "pedo bait" like women who look significantly younger than they are do. I'd take being carded over that.

At least the haircut would be easy to change right?

My great grandmother lived to 103 and died in 2016. I remember seeing photos of her around the time my mother was born in the 1950s and thinking she looked like an older woman then. She then lived around 60 years after that. You look young for a very brief period in a hopefully long life. Enjoy it now. You have plenty of time to look old. Take care of your health and well being and your attractiveness will show. Part of being young is that your peers are also young, immature, and close minded in some ways. That will change to your benefit eventually as well. But the main thing is to take care of your health. That's one part of being attractive that you do have a good amount of control over.

Try online dating first? That way they know your age and you can start to get to know each other & it will help your confidence a little. Perhaps you will find another mid20something that looks like a 20 year old. Try different accessories, like glasses/sunglasses, leather bracelets… change of shirt style maybe? Without knowing what your looking for I can't give advice (not that you asked lol sry) I agree with everyone else that you'll probably be more grateful for it when you're older, but I also have empathy for you, because I know how it feels to lack confidence dating. Embrace it, don't resent it, is my best advice. Embracing it will give you confidence, which will help you look more mature. You got this šŸ˜Ž
