What asmr are you watching where there's dirty fingernails on screen and unkempt hosts? Most of the ‘bigger' or ‘mainstream' asmr artists are exceptionally professional, look amazing and seemingly take great care of themselves. I think you'd have to actively go looking for smaller and less professional asmr artists in order to encounter this issue you've got…and it's insanely easy to avoid
