People want the whole experience. Highlights for sports is nice if you miss it but you can't deny how nice it is to spend a whole day listening to cricket while you get house chores done or have a Barbie

J'avoue que je ne suis pas un grand consommateur de streams en direct sur internet mais par contre je regarde beaucoup de sport en direct à la télé et rien ne peut se comparer au direct, je crois . Il y a une tension dramatique qui monte tout au long de la rencontre sportive et beaucoup de faits de jeu peuvent expliquer le résultat final . Par exemple, il peut sembler fastidieux de suivre une course cycliste de 5H entièrement, mais chaque instant est important, chaque évènements ( problème mécanique, différents reliefs, aléas climatiques ... ) expliquent le résultat final . C'est aussi le seul moyen pour tenter de comprendre les sensations du sportif, ses moments de doutes ou d'euphorie . Aucun résumé de 5 ou 10 minutes ne peut rivaliser le direct pour le sport .

I love football (soccer) and I've spent numerous entire Saturdays and Sundays just watching it from morning till evening. Sure I could just go watch highlights later on and save myself like 8 hours but when you love a sport you want to see the whole thing because highlights don't tell you how the teams set up, how a particular player played, what kind of tactics were used. The goals are exciting sure but the way those goals were conceived are also just as interesting and you don't get the full picture and context from just the 10 second highlights
