I think it's good practice, it's fine to have the memories but no use in clinging to the past. Besides, they most likely aren't even the person you remember anymore.

I'm not sure you got that quite right. Holding onto pics until you are literally forced to due to space limits, sounds fairly pathetic. People have truly moved on when they can delete all their pics or not, and not have it effect them physically or emotionally.

Deleting them for the space feels more final than deleting them out of anger.

I do still have some pictures, but some pics hold some good memories. Example: I have one with her, her dog and myself. The dog passed away a few months ago, it's the only picture I have from that dog. Another one is with my friends on their graduation from high school. She was there too, I don't like her anymore, but I like the picture. It's the only picture I have with them from graduation (where we are together as a group).
