+56 Location sharing is weird, amirite?

I think most people aren't actively checking other locations

It's a safety measure and also helps in locating lost phones. No one in my family checks it obsessively or tries to use it to control anyone. With respect for each other's boundaries, it can be very useful. Seems pretty normal nowadays.

If you are sharing your location with a bunch of people for no real reason then yeah, that's weird. Me and my wife share locations so we can look out for one another. We don't do anything or go anywhere to hide from the other person so it's no big deal. I might check where she's at if she's stuck in traffic on the way home for example.

You are tracked as long as you have a smart phone or a cell phone that is on

I was meeting an online friend for the first time. I got Life360 for my families peace of mind. Which later resulted in being more helpful when I somehow lost my phone so we tracked it to find it 😂. It was in a ditch surprisingly unaffected. I only check it when I know someone should've been home by now so I just do a quick glance to see. Or if someone is bringing home groceries and I know they'd need help.
