Contemporary art is scam. amirite?

"Has anyone heard contemporary music being criticized by the public?" Yes? All the time? I feel like older generations complaining about the youth's taste in music is common to the point of almost being memetic.

"They"can call it whatever they want. It doesn't mean you have to believe it. When did throwing paint on a wall or duct taping a banana on a wall qualify as art? Same with some music and other trends. They will come and go.
