To be honest, I've thankfully only ever had to visit the doctor a handful of times in my life outside of checkups... did get two free surgeries though! Really, I'm just saying royalty sucks, that's the real take here, but that's not controversial enough so I made it click baity not gonna lie. I like the chaos.

Listen, Canada sucks, but not because of the Royals, who at this point are so much of a non-entity that your average Canadian didn't even know Elizabeth II was also the Queen of Canada until after she died. We forget the "monarchy" part of "constitutional monarchy" so often, and the GG and thus the Royal Family have very little to do with how we run our country at this point. We're doing a perfectly good job of destroying ourselves without their help or intervention.

Even if Canada separates from the Commonwealth/monarchy. Nothing else will change. It's purely ceremonial/homage to history. Just, we won't have to pay the salary for a governor general. That's it. Actually, it'll cost taxpayers a lot to re-mint all our currency.
