+75 Audrey Hepburn is unbearably twee, amirite?

"The Summer I Turned Pretty" (S.3, ep10) made multiple references to Audrey Hepburn's Sabrina, which I then watched and found it and her ridiculous. So tonight I watched Roman Holiday and same thing. I googled her and she is wildly popular.

Why not?

Because normal people have better things to worry about than movies and stars that haven't been relevant in 50 years

I see....unlike, say, episodes of The Twilight Zone. Then again, I'm probably not "normal people" Or...maybe some things from 50, even 60, years ago are interesting and never not-relevant?

It was the 1950s and 60s, who you think was making those casting calls? Workplace equality wasn't really a thing yet.

Older men dating younger women stating in the 1950's, this need to be investigated!

Yeah i don't think blaming a woman in past Hollywood for being put with older men is a good look. Especially a woman who endured repeated trauma since childhood

I didn't miss it. Its just not very convincing when you then continue talking about it and basically blaming her and not anyone else. Its giving big "i don't blame her, buuuut" energy
