This argument presupposes that there are available parking spaces by the convenience store. At a lot of the stations near me, there are more pump spots than there are parking spots, and the parking spots are almost always full. It probably varies by how close you live to an interstate (I live about a mile from one).

it should be standard etiquette practice to first move your vehicle from the pump to an actual parking space Where I live, it is... I feel like this might be more of a rant about something that happened to OP once
