I'm good at holding off but like I rarely play Nintendo games anymore cause they don't go on sale. Like I'm not paying $100 Canadian to play Mario Kart. It just means I miss out. The problem is, companies will keep doing this because people are like "it's Nintendo if I don't buy it day one I'll have fomo". So they keep charging more and more and more or charging $20 for DLC that's essentially a free patch anywhere else etc. I'm a patient gamer so I have lots to play but it's getting ridiculous lol.
