I imagine looking after a homeless person was the last thing you wanted to do as a teenager. Would you say the same thing back then?

I don't know - the homeless usually know where to get drugs, and teenagers usually have access to more money than homeless people. It could be the start of a beautiful friendship.

We were friends with the homeless people in my hometown because they would buy us beer.

As a teen, I interacted much more with homeless people than I do now. Sharing cigarettes, asking stories. When I dropped out of high school, I told a homeless person and he was like "go back!" Which was very sweet. (I did not go back, but did end up with an advanced degree eventually). Anyway, I would have resented being told I had to care for them or vice versa, but I guess I can sort of see OP's connection between the two groups.

The rich should pay their taxes, and release the Epstein files.

I've been told by: the one who presides, the representatives of the people, and the institutions of the media; that this incorrect and that the violent mob and criminal organization of AntiFa are lying about facts and figures regarding these issues.

When I was a teen we gave homeless people money to buy us beer, does that count?

First one: Good luck persuading your average, already overstressed teen to even think of that, especially since it's a massive safety risk. Second one: Why is it a growing child's job to manage their parents' health? And if you're having kids to try to have free care when you're older, you're having kids for the wrong reason. Third one: You have to be careful with adopting kids. The would be parents need to ensure they can properly take care of those kids, or else they'll end up making things worse. And no orphan in existence is going to be able to do a lot for strays.
