-64 I do not care for insects, and if one crosses my sight, I might kill it without remorse, if I so please. amirite?

by Anonymous 18 hours ago

You write like you believe you're important. That's your first wrong opinion

by Left-Wafer8636 18 hours ago

In our own worlds, we all are.

by Hefty-Medium9520 18 hours ago

:/ going for the throat I see

by Anonymous 17 hours ago

No one knows what you mean by animals when you say bees and other insects aren't them. Killing random things out of your way? Your examples suck. I kill ants on my desk whenever i see them or bugs in my house. I'm not brave enough to trap and release - i do not care. But how you word this makes it sound like you really enjoy going out of your way to kill them, and even relished thinking you were the only one "brave enough." Your "simply do not care for insects" is much different than mine lol

by Anonymous 17 hours ago

Never even said I'd go out of my way, just if it is in my sight

by Anonymous 17 hours ago

Doesn't really take that much time but sure

by Anonymous 17 hours ago

I think.you need to clean the crumbs off your desk

by Anonymous 16 hours ago

Good roast but I actually do have a clean desk, the ants are rare but I think they come through some crack in the wall

by Anonymous 16 hours ago

I'm not sure brave is the word. Insects are animals.

by Anonymous 16 hours ago

Yeah. One's attitude while having to kill a bug could be indicative. If you have glee while killing a bug, you're lower than a bug.

by Anonymous 16 hours ago

No glee, but no remorse either. I'm indifferent about killing insects

by Anonymous 15 hours ago

never once watched a bugs life? antz?

by Anonymous 15 hours ago

Brave in the sense that all my other family members were running away from them

by Anonymous 15 hours ago

That doesn't make you brave, it makes them scared. 99.9% of insects couldn't even do any long term damage, there's nothing brave about your attitude

by Korbinmurphy 14 hours ago

I've read serial killers start with insects

by Anonymous 14 hours ago

And you're next :p

by Anonymous 14 hours ago

You sound like you weren't hugged enough as a child

by Chemical_Elk_7595 13 hours ago

Or too much...

by Anonymous 13 hours ago

Either way, something went wrong

by Chemical_Elk_7595 13 hours ago

True...

by Anonymous 12 hours ago

This isn't all the unpopular. Plenty of people just, do this. I think more people just smack and kill bugs than catch and release them. But more of the catch and release crowd are willing to talk about it. Loud minority thing. Not like bug crushers have much to talk about. I catch and release in my house, but at my desk, if it touches me, it dies.

by Anonymous 12 hours ago

Insects are animals

by Anonymous 12 hours ago

You can kill spiders all you want but the only thing that bites you at night is because you killed the spider that was protecting your house from that thing.

by Crafty-Teaching-3702 12 hours ago

Yeah being a psychopath is definitely a unpopular opinion good job

by Terrible-Till-5151 12 hours ago

I don't believe you'd never hurt an animal

by Anonymous 11 hours ago

Vegetarian from birth, so truly never hurt an animal at all

by Anonymous 11 hours ago

I still don't believe it regardless of how much tofu you eat.

by Anonymous 11 hours ago

Never actually had tofu either. But yes, I'm vegetarian and have never hurt animals. Believe it if you want, I don't care if you don't. It's just the truth, your opinion isn't gonna change that

by Anonymous 11 hours ago

What do you think a lot of "animals" eat???

by Anonymous 11 hours ago

I'm weak, i'm not vegetarian or vegan but even i know vegetarians still do "some" harm to animals indirectly. It's not the truth. You should care because you're wrong and need to do more research apparently.

by Anonymous 10 hours ago

You do though insects are animals.

by Anonymous 10 hours ago

I like bees they pollinate flowers, and it's nice collecting seeds for next year as opposed to buying them.

by Anonymous 10 hours ago

FYI: A lot of insects leave you alone IF you don't act hostile. ESPECIALLY BEES. Ffs man, DO NOT ATTACK A BEE without knowing where the hive is, they literallly send out war signal against you and their sting ain't a joke.

by Anonymous 10 hours ago

Now that I think about it, funnily enough, I never got stung even once

by Anonymous 10 hours ago

bees aren't aggressive

by Anonymous 9 hours ago

Leave you alone, or try to steal your food (usually wasps), buzz annoyingly, land on you and not allow you to move or they'll get startled and sting?

by Existing_Pie 9 hours ago

I don't think killing insects are than unpopular, like I do to, but more so if they are a problem, like in my home and such, I don't go out of my way to kill them, so a spider outside minding its own business? As long as it's not in the way, I'm not going to do anything to it, and I would rather just remove the spider web, but inside? Yeah no, it will have to go, and I don't want to hunt it down, trying to get it alive, so it gets killed instead, plus not all insects can be dealt with without killing, good luck getting ants out without killing them.

by Anonymous 8 hours ago

Pests sure but spiders have proven time and time again they'll walk on you without biting you as long as you dont apply pressure on them (in videos) of course I still dont grab them myself but ill scoop them up or just let them live up in their corner of the house probably keeping those annoying ass flies out of my face or who knows maybe even mosquitos. Ive even gone out of my way to relocate southwestern black widows.

by Anonymous 8 hours ago

I just don't like spiders, they creep me out, and if I leave them, they multiply, I know as I have left some, but then I just find half a dozen later on, so they get vacuumed up.

by Anonymous 8 hours ago

Its a valid thing. My fiancée is like that too but she does have me to handle it. I just get sad when theres no way to not smoosh them in the scenario I generally can't use our cups at home or she'll never touch it again so if there isn't some type of disposable trash container then that's for them.

by Anonymous 8 hours ago

Where I live there aren't any that are dangerous, but there are also a lot of hunters. It's kinda funny, I have a love hate relationship with them, on one side I find them really fascinating and impressive, but on the other side, I find them really creepy. When I was a kid I loved them, had photos of them and all, full on fascination, but I think it was after one crawled up the toilet when I used it, I have found them creepy, I got some kind of arachnophobia.

Insects are very important for this planet, in fact far more important than humans in the grand scheme of it all. So I would recommend not killing them just because you want to. I don't like them either, and I don't want them in my home but I'll always avoid killing them because they're becoming more and more endangered which means eventually we will to. So for our own survival we should not kill them

by StructureNatural889 7 hours ago

OK they're important for the ecosystem and everything but nothing is more important than humans. Without humans the concept of "importance" doesn't even exist, because nothing is sapient enough to assign importance to anything.

by Anonymous 7 hours ago

That's silly, if every ant suddenly dies then the whole planet goes through a very quick and brutal extinction event. If every human suddenly dies human dies the event is much smaller and there's an improvement on the eco system. Being philosophical over the concept of importance isn't exactly helpful here

by StructureNatural889 7 hours ago

Oof im just here to say i one thousand percent hate your take There is importance in every sentient beings life. Is it important to you? Maybe not? Are you important to me? Maybe not? The f are you talking about, respectfully

by Anonymous 7 hours ago

Insects are animals so your last statement is untrue.

by Anonymous 6 hours ago

Insects are only technically animals. You don't actually go around saying stuff like "A bee is an animal"

by Anonymous 6 hours ago

What does "technically animals" mean?

by Anonymous 6 hours ago

All living things fall under a few categories like plants, animals, fungus, etc. So insects technically fall under the animals category like humans, but common lingo does seperate insects from what we usually consider to be animals like mammals, birds, fish etc

by Anonymous 6 hours ago

I've done a bee genocide as a kid after getting stung and fully understood prejudice that day. "So this is how they see me" Though I don't like hurting living things now

by Anonymous 5 hours ago

I'd suggest you learn about how social bees are, and the role they play in what's left of our ecosystem.

by Anonymous 5 hours ago

I watched the bee movie too /j Yes I know what they do, I just don't care

by Anonymous 5 hours ago

That's something to be corrected.

by Anonymous 4 hours ago

Never seen one, but if I did, you're damn right I'm running away cause that is not an insect, and it can hurt me back

by Anonymous 4 hours ago

I tell my partner who is a landscape Gardner to collect fresh killed bugs for my pitcher plant 😂

by Anonymous 4 hours ago

I once put 3 dead bees in a compass box to prank my aunt

by Anonymous 4 hours ago

You do know that insects are animals, right?

by Anonymous 3 hours ago

Yeah yeah different gene family and all, I went through 9th grade as well. You know what I mean
