Maybe they like to draw or to write and so they draw these characters that they like or they write a fanfiction, it's just a hobby wtf

It's just a way to spend their time, I mean there are people who are obsessed with fictional characters but just because you like a fictional couple it doesn't automatically mean that you're obsessed

Well, seriously, because sometimes I'll watch a show or movie and a couple in it will be very healthy and happy and Ill think they were 100% the right choice to be together and that their relationship makes sense and adds a lot to the story. OR if I have a non cannon ship it's usually 2 friends who have great chemistry and make scenes better when they're in them together and I feel they'd make a cure couple. And sometimes later on they do get together and it makes me happy. I'm not someone who reads any fanfic (tho I did as a teen on occasion) and I've never been obsessive over ships. But I do have a few pieces of media where I feel certain characters would be good matches
