Somebody donated a cracked out looking ceramic squirrel with a fake fur tail and glittering crystal eyes. He's a treasure, for sure!

Somewhere out there, someone is cherishing that hideous vase you couldn't stand. You've officially become a secret Santa for the ages.

This is true. It was a waffle iron we received as a wedding present... We regifted it, but left the card in the box by mistake. The person to whom we gave it regifted it again without even opening the box .. So the third recipient told the second recipient to tell us 'thank you..'

This is gonna be one of those things like the minimum number of people required for two of them to share a birthday ... or the possible number of unique orderings after shuffling a standard pack of 52 playing cards: stupidly (almost insultingly) low or ludicrously (get outta here) high respectively. If we wanna reduce the chances of it happening, do we need to insist that it can't be be regifted by Kevin Bacon ... or anyone within five degrees of him? Or would that just be a Pratchett-esque million-to-one-chance and make all the more likely?

Kinda wild to think how stuff we pass on can become someone else's treasure.

I hope whoever it is, is enjoying their DVD copies of "Airplane!" and "Planes, Trains and Automobiles". Yeah, I know exactly who the ingrate is. He even said, "What am I supposed to do with these?"
