Imagine thinking the characters on Brooklyn 99 are one- dimensional but liking Seinfeld.

Or Friends. That show makes my skin crawl.

This is so real. I have like a visceral negative reaction to friends

It creeps me out, I can't even tell you why. David Swimmer and his character are so repulsive. Phoebe and Monica give me the icks. Rachel is annoying. Joe is okay. The only one I like is Chandler.

It is creepy! Like I always feel like if I was in with a room with those people I would be deeply uncomfortable and worried, there is something just off about them. Especially Ross (David Schwimmer) I like other shows that have a kinda similar format too, it's is very specifically that show that is so off putting

I loved Brooklyn Nine-Nine. I work in a law-enforcement related field and am friends with many cops, and I have worked with or known people who fit pretty much every stereotype and character in the show. If you've worked in the industry, you would know that the show is oddly fairly accurate and many respects.

That's a pretty rude response to what is otherwise a very fair point.

This is in fact a unpopular opinion

YOU TAKE IT BACK! This is my #1 favorite show I've rewatched it start to finish an uncountable amount of times. lol. I know it is a popular show but I've actually never met anyone else in person who enjoys it. All of my friends hate it & think it's too "forced" or just plain dumb lol which I'll agree with, but I actually don't know anybody else personally who likes the show. I also see a lot of hate on here about it too so I'm like who actually likes it? ..no but really who actually does can we talk about it & reference it plz?

Agreed. (And I also think it's unpopular) I was a huge fan of Parks and Recreation and really really wanted to like B99. I really tried. But almost all characters felt flat. It's like they took all the various lovable character traits of P&R characters, dialed them to 11 and made them caricatures. Didn't resonate at all with me as everything felt forced.

It felt like there was just too much Brooklyn 99. Maybe cut the episodes about 50% and then they would've been crammed with the better material.

Couldn't finish a single episode.

You watched six seasons of a show you didn't like?? Man I get lukewarm three episodes deep and give up if I don't enjoy it by then lol

I've never met anyone that likes this show, so I dont know how unpopular of an opinion this is. Generic sitcom with unremarkable characters
