Constrain everyone's freedom based on the lowest common denominator. Some people are never mentally capable of consenting to sex. Make sex illegal. We have the same policy in education. They call it "no child left behind". It results in every child left behind.

Like seek out a therapist and work on yourself because this is an extremely unhealthy line of thinking that leads to the infantilization of adults. It's completely fine and valid for OP to have preferences but suggesting to legislate their preferences on others is messed up. They may feel like a child while they are 19 and in university, when I was 19 I was moved out and working a full time job while taking care of myself and two roommates. Everyone's life experiences are different and to treat everyone the same age as them as helpless children is weird - to me it shows they have something they need to work through with a professional.

Creeps? For finding 19 year olds attractive? I get it that still very young. But that is not a child. A sizable amount of people find attractive 19 year olds attractive. Or is that they are too young to make mature decisions? Well there's a lot of things 18 year olds allowed to do, why is it all about sex? They can join the military and get kicked out of the house but can't have sex with other adults they want to have sex with?

I don't agree with OP because they sound like a young person that thinks someone who is a couple years older is from an entirely different world. But older people that find mostly 19 year olds attractive are often fairly creepy. But that is more of a societal issue, I've thankfully gone the opposite direction as I've gotten older.

It's just humping, relax If where you live the age of consent is 14, 16, or 18 - so be it. Actual creeps are few and far between. If you increase the age, you'll generate more criminals, but not more creeps. Creeps appear at a constant rate. Criminals we don't need more of, especially since it's just humping. In most cases, we're talking about 12 minutes of genitals touching and awkward near-silence. Your personal preference is... frankly, you're 19; I'm not sure you're able to reasonably form a preference that makes sense yet

My classmates, the girls were all dating 30-40 year olds at 16 and most are married to this day. Some like that, others don't. Do what you want to do, the government doesn't need to be involved in people's relationships too.
