Out of all the senses, the worst one to lose would be the sense of touch, amirite?
by Anonymous12 years ago
Sense of taste. If you lost that, it would be worse.
by Anonymous14 years ago
but, without a sense of touch, you cant do anything!
by Anonymous14 years ago
Actually, you an. There have been MULTIPLE cases where people have been born without sense of touch. One kid actually got burnt by a lightbulb and fractured her jaw (two separate cases of hers) by the time she was three, and nobody knew because she didn't have sense of touch. But, I'd say that's good, because she didn't feel any pain. But, it's all a matter of opinion. I think it's taste, you think it's touch, we are two different people with two different minds. Agree to disagree, eh?
by Anonymous14 years ago
*Actually, you CAN.
by Anonymous14 years ago
ok :)
by Anonymous14 years ago
You might think that's a good thing, but it's horrible. So say you can feel pain. You could be killing yourself slowly or doing something dangerous without knowing it, and that still affects your body, no matter that you can't feel it.
by Anonymous12 years ago
You could but chances aree...

(Your+name+(optional)): Very likely...

(Your+name+(optional)): Chances are you don't realize how well you've been trained to stay alive based on your past experiences. Essentially, you learned not to touch the stove by touching the stove and getting hurt. If you didn't get hurt, you wouldn't know not to touch the stove, because there's nothing apparently wrong with it.

(Your+name+(optional)): Most people born with CIPA don't live past the age of 25.

If you can't feel touch, you can't feel any bodily sensations. You can't feel hot or cold or even the need to urinate. Physical feeling is important to survival. I'd rather lose taste than touch any day.
by Anonymous12 years ago
Most tastes are actually smells. The only things you actually taste are sugar, salt, sweet, sour, and two other things I can't remember
by Anonymous12 years ago
Bitter and savory
by Anonymous12 years ago
Wouldn't sugar and sweet be kinda the same thing? :P
by Anonymous12 years ago
In theory, yes. In practice, no.
by Anonymous12 years ago
I wouldn't think that would the worst...I might eat healthier D: but losing your sight must suck
by Anonymous14 years ago
For me, it would be sight. If I lost my vision, I'd lose the will to live.
by Anonymous14 years ago
Sight is the worst
by Anonymous12 years ago
I say sight. Not being able to see colors, or autumn trees, or your husband or children or even yourself. Just sucks.
by Anonymous12 years ago
I don't know. I'm pretty attached to my ability to see dead people.
by Anonymous12 years ago
THEY'RE ALL THE WORST! If you lost any of them it would just suck, I think we can agree on that..
by Anonymous12 years ago
you wouldn't be able to feel anything, like pain or sex
by Anonymous12 years ago
Sex with certain people is like not feeling it at all anyways.
by Anonymous12 years ago
I was thinking the same thing. In the long term it'd be worse to lose you sense of touch because you could be doing your self bodily harm with out knowing it, but not feeling the good things, like kisses or hugs? I could do with out taste as long as I still got to feel.
by Anonymous12 years ago
I think the worst would be sight: "What's that noise? It kinda sounds like a--" "DUDE WATCH OUT FOR THAT--" *gets hit by train*
by Anonymous12 years ago
People can survive without sight, touch, and hearing.
It would suck to lose taste because you'd have to force yourself to eat gross mush.
by Anonymous12 years ago
Not really, I mean somethings I eat just for the texture even though it has no taste.
by Anonymous12 years ago
definitly sight. it might feel youre eating a hotdog, but really, it isnt
by Anonymous12 years ago
Sight.
There's a history of loss of eyesight in my family. I already wear pretty strong glasses, and I've seen my mom have four different laser surgeries so far to try to repair damage to her eyes. I think a lot about losing my sight, and quite frankly it scares the shit out of me.
by Anonymous12 years ago
Losing my eyesight would deplete my quality of life the most, I think.
Losing taste would be the least horrible, at least then I could eat robotically healthy without caring what it tastes like.
by Anonymous12 years ago
Hearing. I can't live without music.
by Anonymous12 years ago
I was about to say that too :)
by Anonymous12 years ago
hearing and eyesight are biggg ones
by Anonymous12 years ago
As an artist I think sight would be the worst for me...
