it's just one guy, adam young. the thing is, fireflies isnt his best song by any stretch of the imagination...what happened was all these "fans" saw a free track on amazon by a guy they'd never heard of and instantly liked not him, but that song. you're not an owl city fan if you dont know what Of June is or what Swimming With Dolphins is.

Popularity has alot to do with it. The more popular you are, the more songs you want to rush out. The more they are rushed, the worse they are.

Same with the Jonas Brothers. Years ago (Back in '06) when they made the American Dragon theme song, THOSE were the days they were good. Now, they got all romantic because of the screaming fan-girls and Camp Rock. Without Camp Rock, they would've never been this popular and suckish.
