We should really improve the education system here in the US. Quite obviously most people can't count to ten as evidenced by the ten items or less line being populated with carts of 20 items or more!

We had occasion to drive through the downtown area of our town this morning. It struck me that most small towns and cities no longer have the bustling center of town that used to be. Has Main Street, U.S.A. become an anachronism? When we think of downtown and our city, are we associating its identification with 30 or 40 years ago, essentially traveling in time in our own minds? I know that's what I do.
